Eros Intl to air films on Sony TV

Still from Namaste London Eros International, leading Bollywood Media and Entertainment Company, today announced that it has signed an exclusive deal for a package of its films to be broadcast on Sony Entertainment Television.

The deal comprises a slate of releases, including recent films like Salaam-e-Ishq and Lage Raho Munnabhai, as well as some upcoming releases like Namastey London. Sony will enjoy exclusive global satellite broadcasting rights to the original version of these titles for a period of five years.

The deal has been struck in line with the company's expectations. It forms an integral part of Eros's content syndication strategy. Eros has an extensive film library of over 1300 titles and has built a successful business model involving 25-30 new releases every year distributed across all formats over the last three decades.
