Shemaroo Entertainment announced the launch of the musical score of their first kids 3D CGI animation flick, Bal Ganesh. The music for the movie has been directed by the melodically blessed Shamir Tandon of Page 3, Traffic Signal and Corporate fame. Moreover, impressive array of artists who are the best from the industry have come together for the music of Bal Ganesh.
The special launch event was graced by Sudesh Bhonsle and Siddhant Bhonsle (Sudesh Bhonsle's son) for whom Bal Ganesh is his debuting album. Creating major excitement were the Zee Saregamapa participants - Amaanat, Aneek, Nirupama, Junaid, Mauli, Sumedha and the Zee Lil champs - Sameer and Pavni along with Raj Pandit who have lent their voice to songs in the movie were also present. The MC of the event was BIG FM's RJ Lavanya. Numerous other celebrity supporters present at the event included Lyricist Sameer, music director Shamir Tandon, Ashok Pandit and others. The music launch event was made even more colorful and entertaining with the live size Bal Ganesh mascot who performed with the talented children, creating an apt ambience for the proceedings.
Bal Ganesh, the 3D animation delight made by Shemaroo Entertainment has been created in association with Astute Media Vision. It has a total of 7 lilting numbers, vocalized by a winning combination of the industry's most respected voices and the freshest of vocal talent, all in one album. It is after 3 decades that Shamir Tandon has brought together the Mangeshkar sisters, Asha&Usha but this time for the song "Nanha Munna Bal Ganesh" in the movie.
Ms. Smita Maroo, Vice-President, Animation Division of Shemaroo Entertainment stated at the special launch occasion, "We are thrilled to introduce you to the world of the music of Bal Ganesh! We are certain that the album is sure to be appreciated by all age groups. Lord Ganesh of course has universal appeal and respect, and we believe that songs sung in honor of him, by such talented top artists, make them all the more special."
