Naam Gum Jayega follows the lives of two girls, Priyanka and Zeenat who were accidentally swopped at birth. Priyanka who was born to Muslim parents has been brought up as a Hindu and Zeenat has been raised as a Muslim, though born a Hindu. The serial traces how they and their families cope when the truth is discovered.
