Salman Khan was totally sidelined at Colors Screen Awards as the actor's blockbuster film Bodyguard was not even nominated in any of the category.
Salman Khan's fans were expecting the actor to bag at least one award at the Colors Screen Awards held recently. However, it came as a rude shock to everybody when they discovered that Salman's super hit movie Bodyguard was not even nominated for any category.
On the other hand, Salman's arch rival, Shahrukh Khan was nominated for Don 2, which did not fare as well as Bodyguard at the Box Office.
Javed Khan, who is also a close friend of Salman Khan spoke to the media and sounded extremely irritated. He said, “These awards really don't come to the deserving sometimes, it involves lot of politics. Otherwise, how can Salman Khan be ignored?"
Javed Khan further added that though Vidya Balan and Shahid Kapoor deserved the awards for best actors, the popular choice should have gone to Salman Khan.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan was in Sharjah, UAE enjoying his celebrity cricket tournament when the Colors Screen Awards ceremony was happening in Mumbai.
