The year 2011 has been a very successful year for actress Kareena Kapoor, who has got two Blockbuster hits to her credits in 2011. Bebo starrer films like Bodyguard and Ra.One have raked in over Rs 100 crore each. Now, the Bollywood star is said to be cashing in on the success by hiking her fee.
Kareena Kapoor was offered the lead role in Madhur Bhandarkar's upcoming movie Heroine twice. But she had rejected the offer after the movie bosses could not agree on the fee. However, the issue of remuneration has recently been sorted out and she is apparently getting over Rs 7 crore for the movie Heroine.
So far Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was the Bollywood"s highest paid female actor. The actress was reportedly paid Rs 6 crore for Tamil superstar Rajinikanth's blockbuster movie Robot in 2010. But now, Kareena Kapoor seems to be replacing Aish as highest paid actress in Indian cinema.
