The opening ceremony of the FIFA is still fresh in the minds of the people who had seen the pop singer Shakira rocking the stage with the song “Waka Waka." This pop star from Columbia is set to rock Bollywood with her voice. Shakira may soon make debut in Bollywood with the music composer Salim-Sulaiman for an upcoming Bollywood film. It seems Sulaiman's stint with Shakira during the “Waka Waka" song in the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony has finally shown its colours.
This is not the first time that Bollywood is bringing in international singers. Pop star Kyle Minogue had also done her debut in the movie Blue staring Akshay Kumar last year. It is reported that Shakira is very keen about the project and is willing to do it. If things work out well then Shakira and Sulaiman would be recording the song in one months time. The song is said to be a Cabaret with a Latin influence.
Prakash Chadda, who directed Aap Ka Suroor staring Himesh Reshammiya, will be directing the film and will be casting the debutant Sachin Joshi, who is also the producing of the film.
