Rani Mukherjee has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. She has been keeping a low profile for quite some time now and has not interacted with the media but rumours about her keep hitting the headlines. Just on the heel of the report that she has stopped talking to her friends, news is doing the rounds that she has parted ways with the Yash Raj Films banner.
It is said that Rani has decided to do films for other production houses and keep away from Yash Raj Films for good. The banner seems to be unlucky for her, as her career started dipping ever since she concentrated on films under the banner. The once queen of Bollywood has lost her place in her own den today.
It may be recalled that all her films under the Yash Raj Films such as Tara Rum Pum, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Dil Bole Hadippa kissed the dust at the box office in spite of the hype before the release.
Yash Raj Films however had success in Chak De India and New York, which didn"t feature Rani. Once again, they have decided to do a film without her. This time, they have roped in Shahid Kapoor and Anushka Sharma for their upcoming release Badmaash Company.
However, it looks like the news of Rani parting ways with the banner seems to be just a speculation, as neither the banner nor the actress has spoken out. Irrespective of the rumours, the queen is likely to bounce back sooner than later. She is currently promoting Indian film festival in Australia along with Rajkumar Hirani.
