Rani Mukherjee has crossed the last hurdle in her love affair with producer Aditya Chopra. Aditya's mother Pamela Chopra who was averse to their relationship finally seems to have given a green signal. Pamela wasn't too happy with Rani and always maintained distance from her. At a recent awards ceremony where Rani approached Yash and Pamela, bowed to seek their blessings after she had completed her performance on-stage.
Aditya's father Yash Chopra has shared a cordial relationship with Rani who has been a regular feature in Yash Raj Films' movies. However, both Yash and Pamela still share a great relationship with Aditya's ex wife Payal who frequently visits YRF Studios. Payal and Aditya seem to have accepted their separation and are back on talking terms now.
Pamela has been softening gradually and finally seems to be giving in to her son's choice for his happiness. Source close to the Chopra family says that it was only a matter of time before she gave her blessings to Rani. There were rumours that Rani and Aditya were planning to tie the knot in December 2009 but now it sees wedding bell isn't far away for the couple.
