Kapoors snub Deepika Padukone

Thursday, January 28, 2010, 9:53 [IST]
It has been more than two months since Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone called it quits. But the Kapoor family doesn't seem to have forgotten it and and they stand united to jilt the Om Shanti Om girl. Ranbir's parents never considered Deepika a welcome partner in his life and she always stood at the receiving end in her short-lived affair. But post break-up the Kapoor clan is missing no opportunity in snubbing her.

Grapevine has it that Ranbir's uncle Randhir Kapoor had thrown a lavish party for the cast of Sajid Khan"s Housefull. While Randhir invited all the cast members, Deepika who is the leading lady in the movie was left out. Lara Dutta and Jiah Khan who star in the movie did not go for the party but both of them were said to have received an invitation

Randhir however denied that the party had anything to do with Housefull and said it was a gathering for some of his close friends. Jiah Khan had another story to tell and said that she was aware of such a party but could not attend due to some prior family commitments. Seems like Kapoor clan is all set to give Deepika Padukone some tough time in the future.

It is hard to beleive how mean Kapoors have become. Inviting all cast members except her was below erquired decensy. Shame on Kapoors. I hope Deepika can rise above these shameful Kapoors who used to be my favourites.

deepika is simply gorgeous. she will surely be a great n awesome actress. kapoor khandhan have way TOO many problems. Rishi kapoor's hildrean which are ranbir and ridhime dont even talk to their own cousins like karishma and kareena coz randhir's girl are high class and think bollywood is theirs. So, if internal problems cannot be solved, deepika u r not the only one which they are aiming at... love you-

I agree with Rosalie and Vishtasp, Deepika Padukone is more than a sweet girl to me, she is in fact my favorite actress. The Kapoors are a respected family and they should have thought about their decisions. Like Rosalie and Vishtasp I don't think its true.

I don't know whether this is true or not but if it is, the Kapoors' could have been more mature about the situation. Deepika is a very sweet girl and she doesn't deserve all this when she's still new in the industry. It's still not right even if they didn't invite her to avoid an uncomfortable situation. Having said that, I don't think it's really true... definitely agree with Vishtasp.

Forgive me, but this story bears no concrete proof of any such thing happening. The Kapoors are a well respected family and play a big part in the history of Indian Film Industry. They would never stoop down to such levels. This is unhealthy reporting, totally baseless, only for gossip mongers. Come one guys, you can do better than this!

hang the dirty kapoors!! they think they are mighty grand... Deepika is an angel. best that she stays away from such idiots. just like kareena falling for an old married donkey like Saif, i m sure Kapoor khandaan can find an old aunty for Ranbir... perhaps Katrina will suit this place.

It just goes to show how petty some people can be. While Deepika should keep her cool the Kapoors, by their attitude have shown what they are really worth!
