Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan is in the news again, not for the dismal performance of his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders but for his rapport with superstar Amitabh Bachchan. The grapevine is abuzz with the news that he is staying away from International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2009 because of Amitabh.
Being the brand ambassador of IIFA, Amitabh Bachchan is surely going to be the cynosure of all eyes at this year's IIFA Awards ceremony. He is leaving no stone unturned to make it a big event and had recently promoted it in the beautiful city of Macau. He had even said publicly that he would invite Shahrukh to the event. But sadly, Shahrukh is likely to miss it if the latest rumours are to be believed.
It is said that Shahrukh would miss IIFA Awards 2009, as he is planning to go for a 10-day vacation to London with his family. Ironically, he is currently taking a break. He is not even cheering for his IPL team in South Africa.
