Salman Khan is the latest superstar to be pulling out of the IIFA Awards 2009 in Macao. Salman was to perform during the award ceremony and promote his upcoming movie Wanted Dead And Alive. But at the last minute Salman has pulled out of the event delivering a huge blow to the organisers. Salman had avoided the event last year too as his lady love Katrina Kaif and her on screen prince charming Akshay Kumar had performed during the event in Bangkok.
The event has already lost some star power with Shahrukh Khan pulling out of the event because he wanted to avoid Amitabh Bachchan. Big B being the Brand Ambassador of IIFA is expected to steal all the limelight during the event which is not acceptable to Shahrukh. Salman and Shahrukh are known to be big crowd pullers and both of them staying away from the event will surely be a huge setback for the organisers.
