The end of the IPL in South Africa had also signaled the end of Preity Zinta's affair with Ness Wadia. The couple who jointly owned Kings XI Punjab were never spotted together during the tournament. The actress had herself stated that she was single also professionally still connected to Ness. Now the truth has come out as to why Preity had called off her relationship with Ness. The buzz in the tinsel town is that Ness had asked Preity to quit films.

Just before the start of the IPL everything was fine between the couple and they had decided to tie the knot once the IPL was over. Ness then dropped the bomb and told Preity that she would have to quit films completely after marriage. Preity initially though Ness was being possessive and told him she would do only selective roles. But Ness was adamant with his demand which ultimately prompted Preity to take the hard decision.

A source close to Preity said that Ness' demand came as a rude shock to Preity who did not want t have any conditions attached to her marriage. Preity has been a self made girl who has tasted success due to her own hard work. The sources adds that Preity did not want to loose her financial independence after marriage and so make the call. The actress has recently signed a movie with Yash Raj Films. All we can say to Ness is that he should rather shift his eyes from Bollywood as the glam girls won't bow to his demands.
