Mani Ratnam is the boss on his sets likes his actors to listen to him. But the perfectionist director seems to be having lots of problems with Aishwarya Bachchan who stars in his movie Raavan. In a particular scene Mani wanted to shoot Aishwarya without any makeup but the former Miss World was in no mood to listen to the director and sneaked in for a basic makeup during one of the shooting breaks.
Mani went furious when he spotted the makeup on Ash's face and immediately wanted her to take it off. Ash was supposed to portray a wife with emotions of being separated from her husband and hence Mani wanted the shot to be natural with no makeup. Well for Ash who is considered to be one of the most beautiful woman in the world it is difficult to do anything without wearing a makeup.
