Sounds unbelievable but thats true, Amitabh Bachchan apparently rejected the idea of working in the movie Aladin with son Abhishek Bachchan. Director Sujoy Ghosh wanted to cast Abhishek in the movie which is based on the Arabian tale of Aladin and Genie. Big B instead made Sujoy rope in Riteish Deshmukh for the role.

Sujoy says that he narrated the script to Big B after which the superstar requested him not to cast Abhishek in the role. The reason Big B and his son were already working in Pa and so he wanted to work with a fresh face this time. The father and the son duo have been part of some hits including Sarkar, Sarkar Raj and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.
