Aamir turns Salman's teacher

Salman Khan and Aamir Khan seem to be getting closer by the day. Sallu has so much admiration for the perfectionist Khan that he wants to turn his student. Salman was so impressed with the marketing of Aamir Khan's Ghajini that he wants Aamir to teach him some marketing skills for his upcoming home production Wanted Dead And Alive also starring Ayesha Takia.

It may be mentioned that Salman had seen the preview of Ghajini and given it a thumbs up. He also painted Aamir's character in Ghajini and gifted him. The two stars are in talk of making a sequel to their hit comedy Andaz Apna Apna. Well Salman will do anything to revive his dooming career and when it comes to advice there is no one better that Aamir in the industry.

while i do echo what dash said leme add that Salman work in all this so called flop movies was superb, but still Salman majorly lags behind the likes of SRK's and Aamirs in innovation and marketing sense.I being Salman's diehard fan am ready to offer my free services to him,and I am sure given that..Salman has no competition,I challenge SRK,Aamir and Akshay togathr cant match Salman when he is innovating himself and following a product marketing srategy..especially coz i feel he is the only superstar with substance with being human foundation et 'al.

If this is indeed true, it is a very good move for Salman Khan. I remember people were putting him down before the release of Tere Naam. Salman knows how to turn things around and I hope he will do it again. He needs to stop allowing people to take unfair advantage of him in order to make a quick buck off his name - Sanjay Dutt has the same problem. A lot of people are stating he delivered 4 flops in 2008. I don't get this. He starred in 2 films, GTGH and Yuraj - and both films flopped. He made brief appearences in Heroes and Hello - these are not Salman Khan movies in a strict sense. Therefore, how can their failure be heavily attributed to him? It was wrong for the makers of these 2 films to promote the films heavily on Salman Khan in a vain attempt to create interest amongst the paying public. (I still feel that on the whole, people in Bollywood don't know how to create effective trailers - they need to stop relying on songs). So strictly speaking, Salman Khan only delivered 2 flops in 2008. Look at it this way, when Bhootnath failed, was this attributed as a flop for SRK (speacial appearance) or to Mr Amitabh Bachchan (in the title role)? In this day and age, marketing is king. Salman needs to step out of the old 1990s mindset. He makes too many films which are a parody of him.
