It so happened that the Perfectionist wanted everything to be perfect. For one of the scenes in 3 Idiots, Kareena had to blow a kiss to Aamir. They took 14 retakes for the particular scene. In another sequence, Kareena kissed Aamir on the cheek. However, the third kiss for the climax of the film is said to be lip-to-lip.
It may be recalled that Aamir Khan kissed Kareena"s elder sister Karisma Kapoor on the lips in the film Raja Hindustani, which was released in 1996. It is still regarded as the most passionate kiss in the history of Bollywood.
Aamir and Kareena were supposed to get intimate in the shelved films Lajjo and Mr Singh & Mrs Mehta. Rani Mukherjee backed out of Mr Singh & Mrs Mehta after learning that it had a kiss scene.
