Reigning queen of Bollywood Rani Mukherjee and hit filmmaker Aditya Chopra have always maintained that they are just close friends though there were rumours that they were madly in love. But if the latest news is to be believed, this 'just close friends' are tying the knot soon.

Aditya and wife Payal Khanna have filled for divorce by mutual consent and they are likely to be legally separated by May. Sources said that Aditya and Rani are looking forward to get married in May once the divorce papers are signed. They are said to be planning a big fat wedding in Mumbai. However, sources said that the news of their engagement is baseless.

Meanwhile, the couple are facing stiff opposition from their families. Aditya's father Yash Chopra and mother Pamela are not happy with the new development, as they get along very well with their daughter-in-law Payal. They have refused to accept Rani to their fold. It is said that Yash Chopra has even asked Aditya to leave Rs.1,000 crore Yash Raj empire. Payal is getting Rs.25 crore as alimony after the divorce besides a huge bungalow gifted by her in-laws.

The aura in Rani's family is not better either. Her parents are not happy with the alliance. This forced her to move out of her family a couple of months ago.

whats with these latest actress breaking up homes .don't they get their own guys their age.its sad cause we thought indians were more intelligent than the western society.especially these bollywood actress they have the money and fame they can really buy husbands not take somebody's property.how are the younger generation going to learn.by looking at this.secondly if he can't make his first wife happy .how do you expect him to keep you happy .love just goes bye bye within few months and reality strikes.
