Release of Fashion is just a fortnight away and things are really heating up on the film's promotion front. And one aspect about the film which has managed to catch attention is Kangana Ranaut's portrayal in the film. In one of the scenes in the film, she is shown to be sitting completely lost on a bust pavement even as dozens of people walk by without paying any attention towards her.

Now this solitary shot pretty much confirms the speculations that were making rounds in the industry circles around a year back that Kangana's character was based on real life model Geetanjali Nagpal. Reason? Geetanjali too was found in a similar state in New Delhi before she was treated in a hospital to have her condition turn for better.

To confirm if this was indeed true, Madhur Bhandarkar only smiled and refused to divulge much about Kangana's character in the film. He merely said, ''Kangana plays a model in the film and goes through a lot in her life. She takes on drugs as well. Beyond that I don't want to comment anything around her role being modeled in Geetanjali. Check out the film and you would know reality by yourself.''
