Hrithik Roshan goes spiritual

Having completed his maiden comedy film Mahadev the national award winning director Shyam Benegal is now contemplating making a film on Gautam Buddha. And who else has he considered for the title role – Hrithik of course!

According to sources, Benegal is interested in signing Hrithik Roshan for the role as he thinks that Hrithik's face has a calm serenity and is perfectly suited to play the role of Buddha. It has been learnt that Hrithik has been approached by the filmmaker and the actor has expressed interest in the project. As the actor has asked for the script of the film, Benegal and his team of writers are now putting the script together.
