Golmaal Returns is Ajay Devgan's biggest grosser till date yet the calm, composed and cool super actor is his usual self. Though he is very happy with the overwhelming response to the film, he is very much focused on his next directorial venture after U Me Aur Hum.
Devgan clarifies that the film should have gone on the floors but it is taking longer than expected. Reason? Well, Ajay wants his film to be technically perfect and on par with international standards, and these things take time. Ajay confirms that his wife, Kajol will once again star in the film and that there won't be too many characters in the film (ala Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi; Shahrukh Khan too says that there are not many characters in the film!).
Devgan is hopeful that he won't make the same mistake that he made with (his debut directorial film) U Me Aur Hum, that of trying to play it safe in the first half and says that he wont hold back on his instincts.
