Magazine features Mallika in top 100 list

As per one of Hong Kong's prominent fashion magazines, Cover, actress Mallika Sherawat features amongst Asia's 100 most beautiful people. The news item appears as the cover story. According to the editor of the fashion magazine, Ellie O'Ready, "Mallika is definitely amongst the 100 most beautiful personalities of Asia and our list would have been incomplete without her."

As may be recalled, Mallika became extremely popular in China, after her short but stunning appearance in acting Jackie Chan's film The Myth. The actress is now acting in singer Himesh Reshamiyya's Aap Ka Suroor - The Moviee.

Director duo Jayeendra Sharma and Jose Roopakala will soon direct a film based on the real life of sister Alphonsa, the first Indian woman who will soon be elevated to sainthood by the Roman Catholic Church. Pope Benedict XVI will declare Sister Alphonsa a saint at St Peter's Square, Rome on Sunday. The film is made showing a priest narrating the story of sister Alphonsa to some children who visit the Bharanaganom church, Kottayam where Alphonsa was buried nearly 60 years.....

Now this one's a first for Mallika Sherawat. The Bollywood hottie is all set to play the role of a Naagin in the Bollywood- Hollywood co-production, Hisss, directed by renowned Hollywood director Jennifer Lynch. The film, which also stars Irrfan Khan, is about the vengeance of a Naagin The Snake Woman and is produced by Govind Menon&Vikram Singh. From the looks of it, a lot of detailing and effort seems to have gone in getting the right look for Mallika.....
