Jeetendra's nephew and Ekta Kapoor's cousin director Abhishek Kapoor has every reason to rejoice. Even though his directorial debut Aryan didn't set the box-office on fire, the deft handling of the subject material seems to have caught the attention of producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. The enterprising producers of Don and Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. have signed Abhishek to direct their forthcoming film.
What makes Abhishek's film special is the fact that Farhan has consented to enact one of the lead roles in the film - thus making it his Bollywood acting debut. A musical, the film is expected to roll by the end of this year.
