Chennai Express, A Good Sign For Other Films

Just like Shahrukh Khan's non stop promotions, Chennai express is on a record-breaking spree. The film has not only done great in North India but also done marvelously in the South Indian Box-office too. Shahrukh Khan thinks that this is a good sign for other Indian films too.

"It's a good sign not only for us, but for the films that came and that will come in the next five-six months. The market of Indian films is so big," said at the INOX theatre on Independence Day. SRK visited the theatre and interacted with fans and the media.

Shahrukh doesn't forget to thank his crew for their strategy that has done wonders with Chennai Express. "I thank our producers and distributors like Disney UTV. Their strategy has improved now," said the 47-year-old.

"People now want to see the films, if they are released properly. Mashallah, this film is doing well down South, internationally also it is doing good. I think it's a great sign for Indian films," he added.

This Rohit Shetty movie which also stars Deepika Padukone in the lead role has set new records that cannot be easily broken. This romantic was released on Eid and has been continuing to do wonders for the audience.

3 Idiots

3 Idiots is a dramatic comedy film that stars Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi, Madhavan and Kareena Kapoor. This Rajkumar hirani directed movie was a huge blockbuster. The story was based on Chetan Bhagat's novel called Five Point Someone. The performances were highly acclaimed.

Ek Tha Tiger

Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger was directed by Kabir Khan which has romance and action. This movie which also starred Katrina Kaif made Sallu fans go crazy.

Ghajini

Ghajini, which is a remake of a Tamil movie with the same name starred Aamir Khan in a new avatar. This perfectionist of course gave his best in the movie where plays the role of Sanjay who has short term memory loss. This movie even set a trend where fans copied Aamir's hair-do.

Rowdy Rathore

In Rowdy Rathore, Akshay Kumar impresses everyone with his double roles, The action sequences of this film very praised.

Dabangg 2

Another Salman Khan movie and like always accepted well among the audiences. This sequel to Dabanng made it bigger than the first part.
