However, later he told the truth to Gauri's parents and convinced them for the marriage.

It is said that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan fell in love during the shooting of Umrao Jaan. The couple got married on April 20, 2007. Their star studded wedding was no less than a fairytale.

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna worked in few films together before tying the knot. The Khiladi Kumar had dated several other actresses before he met Twinkle. The couple tied the knot on January 14, 2001.

Hrithik Roshan saw Sussanne first time on a traffic signal and fell in love with her. He saw her again at a wedding, where he told his friend Uday Chopra, "You see that girl there; I am going to marry her someday." Hrithik finally married Sussanne on December 20, 2000.

Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya worked together in many films before getting hitched. The couple got married in 1973 after a long courtship.

Shahrukh Khan revealed on micro blogging site Twitter how he met his lady love Gauri, Shahrukh Khan wrote, "Met Gauri at those school parties where girls & boys sat in opposite corners & asked each other for a dance."

In the party, Gauri was dancing with someone and Shahrukh told his friend to ask Gauri to dance as SRK was feeling shy. His hopes went crashing down when she lied that she was waiting for her boyfriend. But there was no boyfriend but her brother that she was referring to.
