Salman Khan completes 25 years of success in Bollywood!

Sexy, Suave Superstar Salman Khan has completed 25 years in Bollywood today. Today was the day when Salman Khan started the shooing of his first movie Biwi Ho To Aisi, though the movie released in 1988, its shooting started on 9 October 1987.

However, his first movie Biwi Ho To Aisi did not help Salman Khan in any ways. But his next release, Maine Pyar Kiya broke all the Box-Office records that year. This movie made him a superstar. After Maine Pyar Kiya, Salman Khan gave many hits like Baaghi, Hum Apke Hain Kaun, Jeet, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Partner, Wanted and Tere Naam. And, of course, how can we forget his latest 100 crore movies like Ready, Dabangg, Bodyguard and Ek Tha Tiger.

Salman Khan was born on December 27, 1965 in Indore. He is the eldest son of screenwriter Salim Khan and his first wife Salma. His stepmother is Helen, who has co-starred with him in many films. Salman has two brothers, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan, and two sisters, Alvira and Arpita. Alvira is married to actor-director Atul Agnihotri.

Maine Pyar Kiya was Salman Khan's first superhit movie. After Maine Pyar Kiya, Salman Khan starred in Baaghi: A Rebel for Love. This film also was a Box Office success. After Baaghi, Salman gave four back to back hits in 1991, Patthar Ke Phool, Sanam Bewafa, Kurbaan and Saajan.

In 2004, he was voted as the seventh-best-looking man in the world by People magazine, USA and in 2010 he was voted as the sexiest man alive in India.

Not only this, Salman Khan also has a wax replica made of himself at the London Madame Tussauds making him the 4th Indian actor to have a wax statue. Salman's statue was launched in January 2008. Salman personally chose and donated the black top and denim jeans for his wax figure.

Salman Khan is known as the most generous and large hearted actor. To help the underprivileged children with their education and healthcare, Salman has opened an NGO called Being Human.

Talking about Being Human, Salman Khan said, "I'll do films idhar udhar but charity will be my priority. I've got so much and I want to give back something."
