Farah Khan's husband Shirish Kunder recently launched a rant against Shahrukh Khan's Ra.One on his Twitter page. Ra.One has become a biggest rage across the globe and by taking potshots at the superhero movie, the Bollywood filmmaker seems to have tried out a publicity gimmick for his forthcoming movie Joker.
Shirish Kunder had posted a series of tweets against the movie Ra.One this weekend. He had indirectly called the science fiction flick a bluff and a flop movie. He had even held it low before Salman Khan's Bodyguard. Many people in the industry were thinking that Shahrukh Khan had refused to act in his film Joker, which is why Shirish was making negative remarks about the film.
But that does not seem to be the actual reason behind Shirish Kunder's tirade against Shahrukh's Ra.One. The reason seems to be totally different. SRK has done extensive publicity for Ra.One and whole world is following the news on the film. By launching a tirade, Shirish seems to have planned to cash in on its popularity. He seemed to steal the focus and divert everyone's attention towards himself.
However, Shirish Kunder's upcoming film Joker is a 3D fantasy-adventure entertainer. Shirish wanted Shahrukh to play the lead in it, but he roped in Akshay Kumar after SRK turned down his offer. Sonakshi Sinha is starring alongside Akki in the movie, which is scheduled to hit the screens on 30th August 2012.
