Shahrukh Khan is making the most elaborate and expensive film ever recorded in the history of Bollywood – Ra.One. Shahrukh is doing everything to ensure that the film is as big as he is making it out to be in his promotional campaigns.
While speaking to journalists a while ago regarding the costumes that he adorned in Ra.One, Shahrukh had mentioned that each of the costume costs four-and-a-half crore rupees. He had then added, “And there"s not one costume, there are 20 such!" That would mean Rs 100 crores for SRK's costumes alone. And not to mention other costs including very high promotional expenses!
One can then imagine the kind of pressure that the 'Baadshah of Bollywood' is in! No wonder why the actor is having sleepless nights.
Shahrukh Khan has recently gone on record to say, “Planning and shooting for promotions simultaneously is keeping me awake the whole night. Also, giving international interviews at night is part of the promotional strategies. This time we have planned a nine-week promotional strategy that is quite different. I am happy with the response the promos of Ra.One are getting."
Shahrukh then goes on to crack a witty joke, “The media and I will stay together. I can give interviews, carry on with the promotions and the media can shoot them and then we can sleep together and again in the morning start promoting the film!"
