Luck may prove to be unlucky

When a good film works, we don"t raise our eyebrows. But when a bad film works, it"s often considered Luck. Celebrity astro numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi predicts whether the biggie Luck has enough 'luck" working in its favour for it to work at the box office. “The title of the film Luck adds up to Number 14 which represents Mercury (Number 5). It is the fastest moving planet in the solar system and is often associated with speed and fast changes in life. In that respect, Luck seems to be a fast paced thriller and the vibration of the film gels with its theme" informs Bhavikk.

“But, he continues in the same breath– Number 14 as an octave of Number 5 that is not powerful and this may restrict the film"s bigger prospects" predicts Bhavikk. Talking about the actors, this is what Bhavikk has to say “The film"s leading hero Sanjay Dutt (29th July 1959) will soon be entering his 51st year (Number 6) which is one of his best numbers and so is the year 2009 (Number 2). So, Sanju baba will be seen in full form in the film and one can expect a lot of seeties from the audience sitting in the cinema hall". “As for Imran, he is in his 27th year (13th Jan 1983) and Numbers 5 and 9 do not gel well. But since the year 2009 which adds up to Number 2 is one of best numbers, he will gain some benefit and will be liked in his role. But nothing great!" predicts Bhavikk.

“The release date of the film is on 24th July which is a day of Venus– the planet of love, peace and harmony. An action thriller releasing on a soft day like this is not a good idea. (Wish 'Love Aaj Kal had released on this day for it to work better!). Releasing the film a day earlier (23rd July) would have helped the film to an extent" concludes Bhavikk. So, all in all- Luck is not likely to have a great 'luck" as such!

Imran wants to act with uncle Aamir

You may find this hard to believe, but Imran Khan hasn't watched his debut film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na yet. "I watched the final cut of the film, without the background score. But I've yet to watch the complete version that's playing in theatres," Imran tells me. Why hasn't he watched his film yet? "It has been hectic. We were deep neck into promotions and post release too, we were touring various parts of the country. Later, I.....

i don't know why you have to go whoah ! banging your heads into something like numerology to estimate the 'luck' of a movie is a little absurd i guess, when a little fact-finding can reveal one of the reasons of the failing of bollywood movies at the box-office. yes, it is the 'bankruptcy' of original scripts in the so-called 'bollywood', leading to the shoddy 'inspired' remakes, as is the case here (see a hollywood movie called 'the condemned' and you will understand what i mean to say). now come on guys, asking for an original work, be it for masala or commercial films, isn't asking for too much. or is it ?! i refuse to believe !
