Jacqueline Fernandez, a name that may not ring bells in most years as of now but the Sri Lankan beauty is all set to set Bollywood on fire when she makes her debut in Aladin and The Mystery Of The Lamp. The Sujoy Ghosh directed movie will also star Amitabh Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh and Sanjay Dutt. Jacqueline will play the character of Jasmine in the movie which is based on the famous Arabic tale.
Jacqueline is of Sri Lankan and Malysian origin and has done her schooling in Bahrain. The former Miss Sri Lanka had also represented her nation at the Miss Universe title in Los Angeles in 2006. The 24 years actress has been a regular at drama and has actively taken part in sports and other extra curricular activities in her school days.
Aladin might be her first movie in Bollywood but Jacqueline is no stranger to facing the camera having starred and anchored many television shows in Sri Lanka and Bahrain. She is bruising up her Hindi skills which she feels might prove to be a decider in her Bollywood career. The Sri Lankan sizzler is ready to set Bollywood on fire when her movie hits the theatres on October 30.
