Aladin has been in the news ever since it was launched. It is a fantasy adventure; a modern version of the classic tale of 'Aladin and The Magic Lamp'. The film also boasts of a huge star cast in Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Juhi Chawla and Sameera Reddy.
The film is about Aladin Chatterjee, an orphan, who has been used by Kasim and his gang since childhood. However, his life takes a U-turn after Jasmine gives him a magic lamp, as it let loose the genie Genius. To grant him three wishes and end his contract with the magic lamp, Genius makes Aladin"s life miserable until the real threat Ringmaster, the ex-genie, comes to light. The rest of the film is about the destiny of Aladin.
Riteish plays the title role of Aladin, whereas Amitabh plays Genius. Sanjay Dutt plays the Ringmaster and Jacqueline plays Jasmine.
