We are indeed talking about Mallika Sherawat and Ranvir Shorey, who will very soon be seen in their forthcoming film Ugly Aur Pagli. Produced by Pritish Nandy Communications, and directed by Sachin Kamlakar Khot, this one is definitely a summer treat!

After having created oodles of waves with her last PNC flick, Pyaar Ke Side Effects, it will be a real cracker to see Madame Sherawat in her new look, which is a real refresher from her Khwaaish days, coz Ugly and Pagli has 99 slaps and 1 kiss! Way to go Mallika!

A Movie on Sister Alphonsa

Director duo Jayeendra Sharma and Jose Roopakala will soon direct a film based on the real life of sister Alphonsa, the first Indian woman who will soon be elevated to sainthood by the Roman Catholic Church. Pope Benedict XVI will declare Sister Alphonsa a saint at St Peter's Square, Rome on Sunday. The film is made showing a priest narrating the story of sister Alphonsa to some children who visit the Bharanaganom church, Kottayam where Alphonsa was buried nearly 60 years.....

Now this one's a first for Mallika Sherawat. The Bollywood hottie is all set to play the role of a Naagin in the Bollywood- Hollywood co-production, Hisss, directed by renowned Hollywood director Jennifer Lynch. The film, which also stars Irrfan Khan, is about the vengeance of a Naagin The Snake Woman and is produced by Govind Menon&Vikram Singh. From the looks of it, a lot of detailing and effort seems to have gone in getting the right look for Mallika.....

The first copy of Ankusam directed and produced by VK Vijaykumar Reddy under the banner of Pakhya Celluloids with Srinath and Ritesh as heroes would be ready by September 25. Producer cum director says, "It is a family entertainer with action in its backdrop. It has all kinds of elements for the average audiences. We are going to launch the audio on September 25 and are making efforts to release the film in October. We did not compromise on quality.....
