Bollywood is at its best today. The pace of the Hindi Film Industry is growing with every passing day. Bollywood has reached an international cadre and has attracted the audiences all over the world. With the growing demand of the industry and good films across the world, many people are motivated to start producing films. The global and corporate culture of this growing film industry has also attracted a Delhi based enthusiastic and art-lover Mr. Krishna Choudhary to make good films.
Producer Krishna Choudhary is making his debut with "Right Yaan Wrong" with Sunny Deol in the lead. Recently, when we met Mr. Krishna at his very beautiful office at Mhada, Andheri, he warmly told us about his plans, programmes and things related to his film "Right yaan Wrong". About his family back-ground, Krishnaji said that he basically hailed from Delhi and they are into a family business of builder and development. For many years he was interested in making films but unfortunately nothing could work out. Recently, he has been able to form a production company named "Icon" along with his partner writer Neeraj Pathak.
Krishna Choudhary has made a very professional beginning with his film Right Yaan Wrong by making Subhash Ghai as its presenter. The film will be presented by Subhash Ghai's Banner -Mukta Arts – Trimurti Films. Krishna Choudhary speaks about this at length to us. He said, " The writer and director of this film is Mr Neeraj Pathak and the film is co-produced by Mr Bharat Choudhary. Neeraj and Mr. Subhash Ghai knew each other very well as Neeraj has been the writer of Ghai Saahab's film 'Pardes'. When Neeraj discussed the story of this film with Ghai Saahab, he readily accepted the offer.
The main cast of 'Right Yaan Wrong' is Sunny Deol, Irrfan, Konkana Sen Sharma, Isha Koppikar, Kiron Kher, Shhalyy and Aryan Vaid. The music of the film has been scored by Monty Sharma and the lyrics by Sandeep. About having Sunny Deol in his film Krishna Choudhary said, "After the success of his film Apne, Neeraj Pathak narrated the story of "Right Yaan Wrong" to Sunny Deol and the story really excited him a lot. He happily accepted to work in the film and gave consecutive 3 months' dates to finish it.
About the story, Krishna Choudhary said, "The film is an out and out thriller and will be liked by all age groups. Sunny and Irrfan, both are playing the role of police officers, where as Konkana Sen Sharma plays a lawyer. Isha plays the wife of Sunny in the film. Both the characters played by Sunny and Irrfan are well highlighted and the audience shall certainly like it". He further adds, " This film is not like a routine police officer thriller but is very different from the normal league. It has a social message, emotions, fear, threat, love and hatred. In short it is a blend of various emotions presented in a very mild manner that will really attract the audiences".
Talking about the songs, he said, "The film has a very great story line and every song corresponds well to the incident. Due to the co-operation of Mr. Subhash Ghai we have managed to get a set of 5 good songs in the film. As the music is composed under the supervision of the great music lover Mr. Subhash Ghai I am very confident about it's success".
Krishna Choudhary has made a 3-month shooting schedule that starts from September 2007 to November 2007. Along with Sunny Deol he managed to get the dates of all the other casts. The film is slated to release around March- April 2008.
On being asked about the music director Monty Sharma, he said, "Monty Sharma is an upcoming music director. He has a good sense of music and is highly professional. He has got tremendous passion towards music and has a great potential. That is why we chose him for our film. His job in the film is commendable. He has made good melody for the ears".
Krishna Choudhary further adds, "With 'Icon' we have entered into a corporate business of film-making. Though it is not very easy to remain a single producer and make films in Bollywood, but I definitely plan to make atleast 2 films in a year. Other films would be made taking care of the prevailing situations and conditions then. But I ensure that I am here to make the best films."
