Indian film industry is cruel to married women. Actresses rarely get good heroine roles once they tie the knot. Luckily, Aishwarya Bachchan has managed to keep the fire burning by bagging the role in director Harald Zwart's sequel of The Pink Panther. However, her place in Bollywood seems to be shaky with her plan to bid goodbye to glamour and intimate scenes.
The former beauty queen surprised everyone by turning down hot director Karan Johar's next film, which has hubby Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham in the lead roles. It is said that she has opted out of the film, as she has to do some intimate scenes with John.
Ash must have taken the tough decision to keep away from intimate scenes following the backlash she received by kissing Hritik Roshan in Dhoom 2, especially from the Bachchans. Moreover, she would not like to take chances on her marriage now by creating rumours.
Well, it looks like Ash is asking for trouble by refusing to get close to other actors. Anyway, she can't with her hubby all the time, right?
