You are wrong if you think Aishwarya Rai is over the moon, having got the man of her choice because reality tells another story. The fact is she broke down into tears at the sangeet ceremony held a couple of days ago and that too in the presence of all the quests.
Reliable sources revealed that Aishwarya Rai turned emotional after touching Abhishek Bachchan's feet in one of the songs during the ceremony held at megastar Amitabh Bachchan's bungalow Prateeksha. It's said that the couple danced to all the songs that were played that evening. However, Ash failed to hold back her tears in one of the songs where she touched her man's feet.
The sangeet ceremony was a low profile one with only a few selective quests attending it but it was a night to remember for everybody at the function. Amitabh Bachchan moved his body to the tunes of "Kajra Re" with his grandchildren. Actors like Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgan, who are known for bad dancing, too swung to the peppy tunes that night.
Yesterday, Aishwarya Rai's residence looked like an up market with people thronging for the mehndi ceremony. Her hands were smeared with mehndi and Abhishek's name is expected to be written on her palm like Jaya Bachchan did on her mehndi ceremony day.
However, the happiest moment is yet to come. They will experience a different kind of feeling when they tie the final knot today.
