For all those who have still not caught a glimpse of the first teaser of the most awaited movie of the year, here we bring you the exclusive trailer of Krrish. This sequel to the biggest blockbuster of 2003, Koi Mil Gaya will also be Hrithik's first film since Lakshya.
As the trailer opens to Hrithik's stomping footsteps pulsating the Dolby Stereo, the screen flashes with lines that define his character.
He was born with a gift
He was special
Like his father
His bulging biceps (that hardly came to fore in Koi Mil Gaya) and intense eyes are highlighted as he his sprinting towards his target. The screen subsequently turns into black-and-white frame and breaks into fragments as if it were some molecular disintegration. Thus begins a ride to the sequel of the biggest Indian science fiction.
The background score gains momentum as Hrithik is shown indulging in acts that only a superhuman can attempt. India's first superhero has arrived and so has some spectacular special effects in Hindi films. Check Hrithik crossing a river jumping over distant rocks, flying across skyscrapers, gliding between towers and somersaulting on expressways and the conviction that has gone into the presentation of the visual dazzlery shows onscreen.
As Hrithik flutters his costume that appears like a combo mix from Superman, Batman and Phantom's wardrobe, he still doesn't appear as any cheesy comic strip hero. He also sports a mask on his eyes (perhaps to protect his superhero identity in the film).
As the trailer ends, Hrithik clad in his superhero attire, is shown gazing at the city from a height. The savior seems to have arrived.
Stay tuned for more Krrish updates soon.
