America is another key market for Indian movies, where Shootout At Wadala has done superb business. The movie has raked in approximately Rs 1.13 crores nett ($2,08,000) from 89 screens at the USA Box Office in the first weekend. It has topped the collection chart in country beating its close competitor - Telugu movie Greeku Veerudu, which has collected Rs 92.54 lakhs ($1,71,075) on 49 screens in the country.
Shootout At Wadala has also done record-breaking performance in other foreign countries. The film starring John Abraham, Anil, Tusshar Kapoor and Kangna Ranaut in leads, has collected Rs 70.91 lakhs (£84,244) from 49 screens in UK, Rs 37.61 lakhs (A$67,772) from 10 screens in Australia, Rs 6.86 lakhs (NZ$14,858) from 3 screens in New Zealand and Rs 4.01 lakhs (FJD 13,063) from 2 screens in Fiji Box Office in its opening weekend.
Shootout At Wadala has collected a total of Rs 4.88 crores ($9,00,000) at the Overseas Box Office in the first weekend. With the movie scoring Rs 30.7 crores nett in domestic centres, its worldwide total stands at Rs 35.58 crores nett. Trade experts predict that it would cross Rs 55 crores mark by the end of first week.
