Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatts' latest production Raaz 3 starring Emraan Hashmi, Bipasha Basu and Esha Gupta in leads, has continued to keep the bells ringing at the Indian Box Office. The film has added Rs 9.05 crores nett to its 10 days total Rs 64.30 crores nett. It has been announced as the blockbuster movie of the year 2012.
Raaz 3, which has been made with a nominal cost, had collected Rs 55.25 crores nett at the Box Office in the first week. The movie remained unaffected by the waves of Ranbir Kapoor's Barfi, which opened to an earth-shattering response. It collected Rs 2.25 crores at the desi Box Office on the second Friday.
Its business witnessed improvement on Saturday with its collection reaching Rs 2.80 crores. But the third installment of the Raaz series saw a big jump on Sunday. Its collection was almost doubled up when compared to its second Friday. It added Rs 4 crores to its 10-day total collection Rs 64.30 crores nett.
However, Raaz 3 has become the hit among all movies of Bhatts' camp. It has fetched whopping amount from its rights like satellite, music, theatrical and overseas. Trade experts feel that the horror thriller would do well on weekdays and it would definitely cross Rs 70 crore mark in the second week.
