Aiyyaa, Bhoot Returns beaten by English Vinglish, OMG overseas

New releases Aiyyaa and Bhoot Returns have met a very tragic fate at the Box Office in India. The response for them was no different at the international collection centres. They have been beaten by two weeks old OMG Oh My God and one week old English Vinglish at the overseas Box Office in the first weekend of their release. Their collection is even worse than Tamil film Maattrraan.

English Vinglish has topped the collection chart at the UK Box Office with its business £92,258 from 46 screens in the second weekend. Maattrraan is in the second spot and its collection £81,253 (Rs 69.20 lakhs) from 20 screens. OMG Oh My God is in third position with its third weekend business £25,864 from 16 screens. Aiyyaa has landed in fourth place with its collection £19,628 (Rs 16.72 lacs) from 16 screens, while Bhoot Returns graced sixth place with its gross £10,278 (Rs 8.75 lacs) from 18 screens.

English Vinglish has once again topped the USA Box Office chart with collection $4,37,949 from 88 screens, while Maattrraan landed in second spot with its gross $1,62,422 (Rs 86.11 lakhs) from 38 screens. OMG Oh My God and Barfi are in the second and third spots, while Aiyyaa fell in fifth spot with its collection $ 36,967 (Rs 19.60 lacs) from 25 screens. Bhoot Returns has graced by collecting just $3,478 (Rs 1.84 lacs) from 15 screens.

English Vinglish has topped the chart at the Australia Box Office with its collection A$39,684 from 10 screens. OMG Oh My God has landed in second place with its collection A$10,915 from 7 screens. Aiyyaa has graced third place with its collection A$8,066 (Rs 4.38 lakhs) from 5 screens. Bhoot Returns did not release in the country.

English Vinglish is in the top spot at the New Zealand Box Office chart with its collection NZ$8,370 from 6 screens, while OMG Oh My God landed in the second position with its gross NZ$7,397 from 7 screens. Aiyyaa has graced third place with its collection NZ$6,362 (Rs 2.75 lakhs) from 6 screens. Bhoot Returns did not release in the country.

Aiyyaa and Bhoot Returns did not have any competitors at the Fiji Box Office. Aiyyaa has topped the chart with its collection FJD 11,985 (Rs 3.56 lakhs) from 2 screens. Bhoot Returns has graced second place with its collection crossing FJD 4,873 (Rs 1.45 lakhs) from 2 screens.
