Agneepath, that opened with a whooping Rs 23 crore at the Indian Box Office is expected to cross Rs 100 crore landmark soon.
Trade experts see a bright future for Agneepath at the domestic Box Office. The film starring Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt and Rishi Kapoor is heading to become the biggest blockbuster of the year 2012.
Produced by Karan Johar and directed by Karan Malhotra, Agneepath collected Rs 17 crore net on Sunday, thus taking the total India net to Rs 65 crore.
Though Monday saw the collections decrease, trade experts term the drop as natural.
According to a leading English daily, the distributors' share is being predicted as Rs 50 crore. This goes to emphasise that Agneepath will make it to the Rs 100 crore mark.
The major drawback of Agneepath is the lack of fun moments and too much action. The revenge drama is apparently not being appreciated by the family audience. This is likely to bring a setback for Agneepath at the Box Office in the days to come.
