Shahrukh Khan's Ra.One to beat Salman Khan's Ready in third weekend?

Ra.One's collections at the box office dropped in the second week. Though Ra.One might not be able to beat Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots or Salman Khan's Dabangg and Bodyguard, it might be able to outbeat Salman Khan's Ready collections in the local market in the third week, today being a bank holiday.

Considering the fact that Ra.One is one of the most expensive films to be made in the Indian film industry, stakes are very high. Though Eros and Shahrukh Khan claim that the investment they made for Ra.One amounts to not more than Rs 135 crore, trade sources claim that the investment has been a whooping Rs 162 crore.

Listed below are approximate net collections of some of the highest box office grossers in Bollywood.

3 Idiots – Rs. 215 crore
Dabangg – Rs. 143 crore
Bodyguard – Rs 150 crore
Ready - Rs 122 crore
Ghajini – Rs. 118 crore
Singham - Rs 122 crore
Ra.One - Rs 112 crore

Ra.One might be in a position to cross Ready's Box office collection of Rs. 122 crore this weekend. However, since Ranbir Kapoor's much anticipated film Rockstar will release today, SRK's Ra.One might face severe competition!

Meanwhile, the famous Shahrukh-Salman battle over box office supremacy continues...

Ra.one can't rocks the box office because it was the copy of Hollywood. In 2nd weekend it makes only 112 crores but can't cross Salman Khan's movie Bodyguard's 150 crores. So Salman is only the king of bollywood not SRK.

S.R.K. is completely flop and these days S.K. is the only king of Bollywood . S.R.K is flying in the sky like a fool for Ra.one but its floped against Bodyguard.

People saw 3 Idiots because two biggest names in quality cinema Raju Hirani and Aamir Khan were coming together for first time. Otherwise, collections of VVC's and Raju Hirani's previous films are nowhere close to even Ghajini let alone 3 Idiots!
