The new biggie, Raajneeti, fetched a phenomenal start, at big centres as well as smaller towns, at plexes as well as single screens, garnering 90% + collections. The opening was superb in North, West and Central India, where the morning and noon shows opened to an overwhelming response. A tiny section of the industry was of the opinion that the film might not open too well at plexes, but even plexes have opened very, very well. Single screens, of course, are terrific. The audience feedback is very good, so the first weekend as also Week 1 business is bound to be excellent.
