The much awaited Sarkar Raj didn't open to a thunderous response, but the reports are encouraging and the business picked up during evening shows and as the weekend progressed. The opening ranged from 50% to 60% at places, although the opening was lower at single screens [30% to 40%]. However, Mumbai city single screens were better. By evening, the multiplexes were running to packed houses. The opening was partly affected due to heavy rains in some parts of the country.
