Bollywood actress Raima Sen, daughter of Bengali actress Moonmoon Sen, is now all set to enter Malayalam films. Veera Putran, which will be directed by PT Kunjumohammed, will be her debut movie in Mollywood. Sources claim that she can be seen alongside South Indian star Prithviraj in the film.

The movie Veera Putran is a historical period drama, which deals with the real life story of Abdul Rehman Sahib, a freedom fighter and Congress leader. PT Kunjumohammed was impressed by Raima Sen's acting in The Japanese Wife. So he contacted her for female lead in the film.

Raima Sen is already said to have signed the project, which would start shooting in May. Prithviraj will play the hero in the movie Veera Putran, while Raima Sen appears as his wife. She says that she is open to any project that appeals to her and she has no language barriers. According to source, a language expert will help her with her diction.

However, Raima Sen is an accomplished actress in Bengali and Bollywood. She debuted in South Indian films with Teja"s Telugu film Dhairyam in 2005. Currently, she is busy with the shooting for Tanuja Chandra"s Raakh and Rituparno Ghosh"s Nauka Dubi. She is all excited to start shooting for Veera Putran.
