If sources are to believe, many audience walked out of the premiere of director Kaushik Mukherjee's much-talked about Bengali movie Gandu at the Berlin International Film Festival. The reason behind this is its explicit content and boldness in its presentation on screen.
The film Gandu is a small budget movie, which has been shot mostly on black and white colours. It is said to be high on explicit bedroom scenes, sexual rap lyrics and bold content. Many viewers could not endure it for long time. So they left the cinema in the midway. But the movie managed to make several fans sit till the end with its intriguingly engaging story and narration.

Talking about the raunchy scenes in it, the director says, “It is extreme cinema. When I make a film about a young man"s frustrations, then 70% of it has to be about sex."
However, Gandu has already been screened at the South Asian International Film Festival in New York and Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. The movie bosses have no plans to release it in India. But Q is trying to find a way to reach the audience those who are desperatly waiting for it.
